Day 6 - Kingman to Topock
We assembled at 9:00 at the Power House Visitor Center downtown Kingman. A black and white police car led us out of town. There were over 700 cars there and we just happened to be second in line on our journey to Topock on the Arizona/California border. As we went along, other cars jumped in the convoy and it was quite a sight. We went through McConnico, Goldroad, and stopped in Oatman. The road had a lot of curves and switchbacks. As it was rainy, we had to keep the top up so I could not get the best pictures. If you click on a picture they will enlarge. If you notice the guard rails are sometimes, cable, rock or not at all. Look for the line of cars behind us. Totally Awesome!!!!
Then we came to the town of Oatman. Where donkeys roam the streets. The store owners have them trained to come and eat treats.
Bob and Sherran were behind us in their Jeep.
We had a warning not to trespass.
People were sitting along the road taking pictures.

No Guardrail!
Colorado Gold Mine. Bob said in it's heyday, they had armed guards walking the fence line.

The donkey loved Sherran until she ran out of food.
At Golden Shore, they had a cut out for the end of the run. Awesomeness.
We travelled on to Topock on the Colorado River/Arizona border and ate.
