Day 7 - Kingman to Albuquerque
Mike had a long day today. We drove over 11 hours to get to Albuquerque to have supper with some life long friends of mine. I did learns something today.
Ash Fork, Arizona is ....... The Flagstone Capital! Flagstone lined the road on both sides.
As we found out in California, Route 66 was under construction in places and we had a surprise when we crossed the state line into New Mexico. There had been a rock slide and the road was closed. The Navajo must own the land and the horses roam free.
We met Bob and Tina Stablein at Bubba's 33. There children and grandchildren were there. We love these people.
