Friend Meet At Wahweap


Bob and Sherran Doobovsky met us on their way to California.  They came to Page, AZ and stayed at the Wahweap Campground by us.  The day that they arrived we took them to see Horseshoe Bend.  It was a good thing went then because the next day we had strong winds.  We would of been blown off the edge.



We had planned on going siteseeing on Tuesday and take a picnic lunch.  The wind was gusting to over 40 miles an hour.  We at lunch in the motorhome and then watched a movie. We had dinner together and then watched another movie.  It was a fun relaxing time.  We convoyed to St. George, Utah on Wednesday and parked next to two awesome trucks.

Broken Arrow, Oklahama

We left our motor home at Grand Lake and spent a few days at Pat and Mike's home in Broken Arrow.  Astrid caught a ride with Michelle's in-laws, Mark and Cheryl, who also have an RV.  They were visiting Scott and Michelle and was passing our way on their way to Branson for a Rally.  Pat and Mike's granddaughter, Madison, is Astrid's age and they had a lot of fun.  They put miles on a little scooter. And had a sleep over.

Mayberry, North Carolina

We made a side trip to Mt. Airy, North Carolina.  This is where Andy Griffith was born and the Andy Griffith Show was fashioned after this town.  We toured the Andy Griffith Museum.  It was a trip down memory lane.  It was amazing how much we remembered form those shows. It was a fun stop and recommend for you to stop by if you are in the area! We went up one side and down the other side of Main Street and ate at Barney's. Floyds Barber Shop was closed....
