Fishing in Pinedale

Mike purchased a Wyoming fishing license today and we went to two different lakes fishing.  The fish either died over the winter, or they are sleeping deep down. We did not even see a ripple on the surface.   Fremont lake is 600 feet deep.  The lakes still have ice on them.

We did stop at a cowboy apparel store and by a winter coat for me and one for Mike.  They have all their winter clothes on sale. Mike and I had on long sleeve shirts and jackets and the "locals" were wearing shorts and sleeveless tops.  Is that snow on the shore??  Mike misses his Colorado fishing buddies!!

We drove up the road until we could not go any further. This was over 9,000 feet.

On the way back down the mountain, we saw Mule Deer.  The landscape is strewn with rocks left by the glacier.  If you remember your history of farming in the midwest, the farmers had to remove rocks from their fields.  Could you image trying to clear a field here?

I think that the Mule Deer look kangaroos.
