Owls Head

We began our day at the Owls Head Transportation Museum.

When we paid for our entry, they told us a B17 would be landing around noon.  Mike told them that we had been inside a B17 in Mesa.  They told us that it was the same plane, Sentimental Journey.  Cool.  It flew from Mesa to Owls Head Maine.

The museum was a treasure trove of cars, planes, motorcycles, Steam engines, gyspy wagons.

This has not been restored.  Before....
This has been restored. After....

A very ornate fire steamer.

A flying machine....The wings had chicken feathers on them.

There were several planes.

And over 100 cars....
I will have to let Mike pick a few. (More to be posted later!)
