Little Big Horn - Custer's Last Stand
One great thing about traveling the country is that it is a history lesson. We have been blessed to see beautiful country. At the Little Big Horn, there are stone monuments to mark the spot where soldiers, Indians, and even their horses fell.
The stone with the black represents Custer.
All the red stones represent Indians.
The Little Big Horn river had steep banks. Once Custer's army got down into the river, they could not get back out. This made crossing the river difficult. You can imagine Indians hiding in the hills.
