Scott and Sherry Smithhart Visit Colorado

My brother, Scott and his wife, Sherry, came to Cottonwood Cove to visit us. Scott got up early and went fishing with our friends. Scott, Mike, Mike, Mike and Marvin. We had a fish fry with several of our camping buddies and of course, we had mushrooms.

We all went fishing at Continental Reservoir but did not have any luck. I love the reflection in the water.

Mike, Michelle, Astrid, Scott and Sherry went horseback riding. This was Sherry's first horseback ride. She is ready for, "Cowgirl Up."


Sherry and I saw an old church up on the hill behind Creede and went in search of it. Bob Ford, the person who killed Jesse James, was buried there. His widow eventually moved his body to Missouri.




When we all went mushroom hunting, we stopped to see the view. It was majastic.

Mike / Debbie You realize that Lynn and I went through the same cemetary in Creede the september before.
Lynn'a cousin lives there, south side of the road into town near the tree line. Log home.

Broken Arrow, Oklahama

We left our motor home at Grand Lake and spent a few days at Pat and Mike's home in Broken Arrow.  Astrid caught a ride with Michelle's in-laws, Mark and Cheryl, who also have an RV.  They were visiting Scott and Michelle and was passing our way on their way to Branson for a Rally.  Pat and Mike's granddaughter, Madison, is Astrid's age and they had a lot of fun.  They put miles on a little scooter. And had a sleep over.

Mayberry, North Carolina

We made a side trip to Mt. Airy, North Carolina.  This is where Andy Griffith was born and the Andy Griffith Show was fashioned after this town.  We toured the Andy Griffith Museum.  It was a trip down memory lane.  It was amazing how much we remembered form those shows. It was a fun stop and recommend for you to stop by if you are in the area! We went up one side and down the other side of Main Street and ate at Barney's. Floyds Barber Shop was closed....
