Mike surprised the group with entertainment Saturday night when we gathered at 5:00 for snacks. None of them knew Mike played the guitar. He sang and harassed the crowd. It was fantastic!
Mike joked with the crowd. They laughed, sang and some even danced.
Do you see the horses rear end? Ooops, there is the rest of the horse.
Well done Mike. I am so proud of you! We are living the dream.

Hey Mike Day...you look good with the scruffy cowboy look..haha
Astrid, our granddaughter is 10 today. This is the first birthday that I have not been with her. Usually, Mike and I are in Texas in May or I fly there. We are in Flagstaff, Arizona on our way to Wyoming.
Mike, Mike and Don After spending time with family, we thought Mike's Dad was doing much better, so we traveled a few hours north of Dallas to visit our Oklahoma friends Pat and Mike Bowline. We stayed near a huge lake in Oklahoma called Grand Lake. We played a lot of Pitch and laughed alot. Don and Susan Schnieder from west OK met us there and we rented a pontoon boat.
This has to be one of my favorite place on our journey. I have been waiting years to see it. When I was in grade school our neighbors had gone there and brought pictures. Every year they change the mural. We drove past there a few years ago and was going to stop on the way back. But went home a different route. I know this is "corny", but I loved it. They were in the process of putting a new mosaic on the outside of the building. It looked like there was a group of high school and college kids working on the mosaic. Some were on the ground cutting grass for the border and others were on lifts stapling it to the building. The detail is astonishing. They have a pattern drawn on roofing paper and coded with the color of corn to use in each section. Speaking of "corny," Mike told me I could buy the sweatshirt, but was reluctant about the hat.
